Why a Web Version? Acadian Culture in Maine went out of print shortly after its publication. The National Park Service has granted permission to the Acadian Archives at the University of Maine to make this web version.

How Does the Website Differ from the Original Publication? The web version contains all of the text, maps, and black-and-white photographs of the original publication. We have also added over 100 color images, photographs, drawings and maps that were not included in the original publication.
